How We Ship

Our animal's health is our top priority when shipping. We pack all of our animals in a marked and insulated box to ensure a safe trip to their new homes! If we think a animals life is at risk we will not ship and delay until we believe it is safe. Shipping to your nearest hub is always recommended to minimize the risk of having a D.O.A.

Live Arrival Guarantee (L.A.G.)

All live shipments must be shipped OVERNIGHT to qualify for our Live Arrival Guareentee. The health and safety of our animals is our top priority.

There are circumstances that will void the live arrival guarantee. These circumstances include:

1. The buyer must be present to sign for the package on the first delivery attempt (Fedex provides time of delivery stamp).

2. A delay in shipping due to carrier mishandling.

3. Temperatures at the hub or destination being under 32°F or over 95°F.

4. Animals held for pickup at a Fedex location must be picked up by the customer within 3 hours of arrival. (Photo Id must be provided and match the name used for shipping)

5. Inaccurate address entered at checkout resulting in a delay in shipping.

6. Any Live Arrival Guarantee requests must be made within 1 hour of the package being dropped off by FedEx or 1 hour of package being picked up at Hub if Hold For Pickup option was used.

Note: Live Arrival Guarantee is void for isopods shipped in temperatures above 85°F.

Should your animal perish in transit we will need you the buyer to provide a picture of the deceased animal on its back and to contact us upon receipt of the package. This must be provided within 1 hour of the delivery time stamp.

Live arrival guarantee will only apply to the cost of the animal and will not apply to the cost of shipping. Shipping costs for replacement animals are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping charges are not refundable once your order has been shipped.

We offer a 24 hour health guareentee on all of our reptiles. Any issues must be reported immediantly. Mishandlings on the carrier or customers part will void this guareentee. We are not responsible for carrier delays or mishandling resulting in late arrival on shipments. We do not offer refunds on shipping fees due to late deliveries. We are not responsible for any vet bills incurred after receiving an animal. All plantae, amphibians and invertebrates are excluded from this policy unless stated else where. Any issues must be reported immediantly.

Return and Refund Policy

For returns on purchased products in-store, the customer has 10 days from purchase date to return product unopened with proof of purchase for a refund via store credit. Contact manufacturer directly for malfunctioning products that have been opened. All plantae, invertebrate and amphibian sales are final. We are not responsible for any vet bills incurred after receiving an animal.

Feeder Program:

Our feeder program is open to serious keepers and breeders needing large quantities at a discount! Our wholesale program is open and available to all customers. Increasing your quanity on the feeder store selection will open discounted options.

Healthy Animal Guarantee

1. Health Assurance:
a. Predator and Prey Exotics LLC guarantees that at the time of sale, the exotic pet being sold is in good health to the best of our knowledge.
b. This guarantee DOES NOT apply to plantae, invertebrates and amphibians. All plantae, invertebrate and amphibian sales are final.
2. Health Guarantee Period:
a. A 14 day health guarantee is provided from the date of purchase for the exotic pet.
b. This guarantee is valid only if the exotic pet has not been exposed to other animals or hazardous environments after leaving our care.
3. Terms of the Guarantee:
a. The buyer must have the exotic pet examined by a licensed veterinarian within 14 days of receipt to validate the health guarantee.
b. In the event of a health issue confirmed by a licensed veterinarian within the guarantee period, Predator and Prey Exotics LLC will provide the following options:
i. Replacement of the exotic pet with one of equal value (if available).
ii. A refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping and handling fees.
4. Exclusions from the Guarantee:
a. Health issues resulting from negligence, improper care, or accidents after the sale are not covered under this guarantee.
b. Any health problems caused by the introduction of the exotic pet to other animals or unsuitable environmental conditions are excluded from this guarantee.
5. Buyer's Responsibilities:
a. The buyer must provide proper care and housing as per recommended guidelines for the specific exotic pet species.
b. Failure to provide adequate care and environment for the exotic pet may void this health guarantee.
6. Notification and Documentation:
a. Any health concerns or issues must be promptly communicated to Predator and Prey Exotics LLC with supporting documentation from a licensed veterinarian.
b. Predator and Prey Exotics LLC reserves the right to verify the diagnosis with a veterinarian of our choice.
7. Transfer of Ownership:
a. The health guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
8. Limitation of Liability:
Predator and Prey Exotics shall not be held liable for any incidental or consequential damages, expenses, or losses incurred due to health issues with the exotic pet. We are not responsible for any vet bills incurred after receiving an animal.
