Tlilitocatl vagans (Mexican Red-rump)

This “Brachy” has a striking appearance with black body and legs and bright-red abdomen. Another common name is “Mexican Black Velvet” in reference to the gorgeous velvety-black color, especially in freshly molted specimens. It varies in temperament with some spiders being very docile while others are a bit more nervous and may flick hairs or even get defensive.
