Description
Whites Tree Frogs "SnowFlakes"
This moderately large Australian or New Guinean tree frog is also popularly referred to as the “Dumpy Treefrog” as large adults can become quite plump with loose skin folds and a distinct fatty ridge over the eyes. Australians refer to them simply as green tree frogs, although some populations often have very bluish specimens. It can be tolerant of somewhat drier conditions and secretes a waxy substance to protect it from desiccation. It is a very popular pet as it is a docile and adaptable hardy tree frog that can live fifteen years, much longer than most tree frogs. A warm tropical forest vivarium with a drier and somewhat hotter basking area and excellent ventilation is recommended.
