The Amazon Milk Frog is a charming, tree-dwelling amphibian named for the milky white secretion it produces as a defense in the wild. With their smooth blue-gray skin, dark banding, and chunky little toes, these frogs are both cute and captivating.

Care & Habitat:
Milk Frogs do best in tall, well-ventilated enclosures that mimic their natural rainforest habitat. A vertical terrarium with plenty of climbing branches, live or artificial plants, and cork bark is ideal. Maintain temperatures between 75–85°F and humidity around 60–80%. These frogs appreciate a daily misting and access to clean, dechlorinated water.
Feeding:
Insectivorous and hearty eaters, Milk Frogs enjoy a diet of crickets, dubia roaches, and other appropriately sized insects. Gut-load and dust prey with calcium for best health.

Despite their exotic looks, Milk Frogs are known to be fairly hardy and easy to care for, making them great for beginners ready to step into the world of amphibians!
