🧠 Did You Know?
OBTs are known for their extensive webbing—even in arid conditions. Given enough space and décor, they’ll create elaborate tunnels and silk structures, making them one of the most visually interesting tarantulas to observe in captivity.
⚠️ Not for Beginners:
Due to its speed, strong defensiveness, and lack of urticating hairs (common in New World species), the Orange Baboon Tarantula is recommended only for experienced tarantula keepers. This species is strictly look, don’t touch—but it's an absolute showstopper when properly cared for.
For bold collectors and display-focused enthusiasts, the OBT is a must-have—vibrant, intense, and unforgettable.
